Apple's Motion & Interaction team is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to develop next-generation features using multi-modal sensing. This role sits at the intersection of algorithms, software, hardware, and design, working on innovative motion sensing capabilities across Apple's product line including iPhone, Watch, AirPods, and Vision Pro.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be responsible for ideating, designing, and implementing models & algorithms while optimizing for power, memory, and performance. The compensation package includes a competitive base salary range of $143,100 to $264,200, plus additional benefits such as stock options, comprehensive medical coverage, and education reimbursement. Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer
- Design and drive end to end features with specialists across the company
- Develop machine learning data pipelines for training and testing
- Deploy efficient, low-power models & algorithms
- Deliver software through prototyping and release to customers
- Work closely with scientists, software engineers, quality engineers, project managers, and designers throughout product lifecycle
Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer
- MS, PhD, or 5+ years experience in machine learning, computer science, or related fields
- Professional experience creating and experimenting with machine learning models, preferably with time series data
- Strong proficiency in Python, machine learning tools and frameworks e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow
