Apple's Retail Technology Engineering team is seeking a MacOS Content Production Engineer to join their dynamic environment. You'll be responsible for building MacOS demo content packages, creating scripts, and serving as a high-level escalation point for QA issues. The role requires expertise in device provisioning via MDM/JAMF and deep knowledge of MacOS platforms.

Responsibilities For MacOS Content Production Engineer

  • Build MacOS demo content packages for deployment to Retail stores
  • Create ad hoc scripts and develop extensible systems for loading content
  • Serve as Tier 3/4 escalation point for MacOS Digital Experience QA
  • Device provisioning via MDM/JAMF
  • Perform Apple operating system research and implement new technologies

Requirements For MacOS Content Production Engineer

Python
Linux
  • 10+ years of experience working on MacOS platform as a tooling engineer, system administrator
  • Extensive experience with Mobile Device Management frameworks (JAMF preferred)
  • Expert knowledge of UNIX/LINUX environments and setup tools
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced Bash and Python
  • Understanding of integrated testing frameworks such as XCTest and pyTest
