Responsibilities For Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE) Thermal Module

  • Lead Operations Engineering efforts in Thermal modules development
  • Plan and lead experiments for design and development decisions
  • Collaborate with Suppliers and Engineering teams in developing manufacturing and test processes
  • Lead multi-functional activities in the supply chain for operational readiness
  • Review supplier equipment and fixture design, process flow, and equipment selection
  • Establish Quality programs and Manufacturing Process Control Plans
  • Drive process development and capability assessment activities
  • Evaluate prospective suppliers regarding production capability & quality management

Requirements For Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE) Thermal Module

  • 7+ years experience supporting new product launches in a Mechanical Engineering role
  • Willing and able to travel internationally 30%
  • BS Mechanical Engineer (MSME, MBA a plus)
  • Good understanding of Mechanical Design, Thermodynamics, Simulations, Modeling and CAD, GD&T
  • Experience with manufacturing processes of Graphite
  • Strong statistical analysis skills using tools like JMP
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience working with international OEMs/CM
