As a member of the Retail Device Management team, you will work to handle, secure and support all Apple Retail devices worldwide. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our tools focused on MDM for MacOS and iOS platforms as well as related applications and infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on Mobile Device Management (MDM), front-end, back-end, and accessibility testing.
Responsibilities:
- MDM Testing: Execute comprehensive MDM tests on various mobile platforms, including iOS and macOS, using industry-leading MDM solutions.
- Front-End Testing: Design, develop, and implement automated and manual front-end tests on web and mobile applications.
- Back-End Testing: Collaborate closely with developers to test the back-end systems. Perform API testing, database queries, stress testing, and scalability testing.
- Accessibility Testing: Conduct detailed accessibility audits of our applications to ensure compliance with web accessibility guidelines.
- Reporting and Communication: Document testing results, defects, and issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in mobile applications, MDM, front-end, back-end, and accessibility testing.
This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies which they will apply to MDM protocols, as well as iOS and web applications. You will help to uphold Apple's quality standards, as well as look for new ways to continue to improve testing methodology and efficacy.
