At Apple, we work every single day to craft products that enrich people's lives. This role offers an opportunity for a forward-thinking Mixed-signal Behavioral Modeling Engineer to join our team. You'll be working on translating custom mixed-signal circuit schematics into efficient SystemVerilog behavioral models for high-level simulations. The position involves close collaboration with circuit design teams to understand custom circuits and DV teams for effective verification.
As part of the Apple mixed-signal silicon design team, you'll build a strong foundation in full custom analog and high-speed digital circuits, gaining insights into IPs used to interface with the environment around the chip. Working alongside experts in circuit design and design verification, you'll develop expertise in simulation, software methods, optimization, and analysis.
Your responsibilities will include running simulations and formal equivalence tools to ensure model accuracy, coding targeted checks, and writing automation scripts. This role is perfect for someone early in their chip design career who wants to challenge themselves in a technical and multi-disciplinary effort.
The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of digital logic gates, Verilog/SystemVerilog, and circuit schematics. Understanding of analog blocks, SPICE simulations, and timing synchronous digital logic is essential. Experience with Python/PERL scripting and familiarity with PLLs/DLLs/SERDES is a strong plus.
Join Apple's innovative hardware team and be part of creating the next generation of mixed-signal solutions that power our groundbreaking products.
