Description For Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer

Apple is seeking an exceptional Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer to join their Hardware team in crafting groundbreaking products that impact millions of users worldwide. This role sits at the heart of PHY design efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver industry-leading solutions.

As a Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer, you'll be instrumental in all phases of high-performance PHY designs, from initial architectural concepts to final GDS delivery. The position requires expertise in transistor-level Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designs and collaboration with various teams including Platform Architecture, Logic Designers, SIPI, Layout, DV, and Timing Teams.

The ideal candidate brings at least 10 years of relevant experience and a BS degree in a technical discipline. Your expertise should span Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design of PHYs, including TX, RX, Delay Locked Loops, Phase Interpolators, and more. Knowledge of SoC Architecture and HDL languages like Verilog is essential for effective collaboration with the logic design team.

Responsibilities For Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer

  • Design transistor level Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuits
  • Collaborate with Platform Architecture, Logic Designers, SIPI, Layout, DV and Timing Teams
  • Work with Layout Teams on physical implementation of industry leading PHY designs
  • Perform block level verification to meet performance, power and area specifications
  • Participate in establishing Design Methodologies

Requirements For Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer

  • BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven understanding of Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design of PHYs
  • Knowledge of Basic SoC Architecture and HDL languages like Verilog
  • Solid understanding of Circuit Verification tools
  • Ability to generate block/chip level specifications
