Responsibilities For Modeling & Simulation Engineer

  • Drive new sensor technology development
  • Perform feasibility analysis, material stack up, and sensor element design
  • Model & simulate sensor designs to determine response to user interaction
  • Develop analytical models for predicting sensor performance
  • Perform circuit modeling, statistical analysis and design
  • Conduct tolerance and sensitivity analysis
  • Analyze and verify designs including correlation of bench testing to simulation models
  • Work with cross-functional teams
  • Perform rigorous design reviews with internal teams and vendors

Requirements For Modeling & Simulation Engineer

  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Strong background in electrostatics and dielectric materials
  • Experience with FEA modeling tools
  • Understanding of material behavior and its impacts on sensor performance
  • Good understanding of electrical circuits
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
