Apple is seeking a highly experienced Modem Design Engineer to join our Hardware team in San Diego. This role is crucial in developing next-generation cellular modems for Apple's consumer products.
You will work closely with architecture, design, implementation, power, and physical design teams to deliver best-in-class multi-modem cellular modems. Your responsibilities will include synthesis, power analysis, and optimization of delivered IP, while collaborating with process technology, custom memory, STA, and DFT teams to achieve successful first silicon.
The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of relevant industry experience and expert design knowledge in RTL principles and physical design implementation. You'll be responsible for partition-level implementation, driving analysis and optimizations using advanced synthesis techniques, and RTL design improvement for optimal area, timing, and power.
