Operating System Build Quality Engineer

Apple is seeking an Operating System Build Quality Engineer for their Build Quality team. The role involves being responsible for the quality and stability of daily builds for one of Apple's operating systems. The ideal candidate is an organized, critical thinker who will play a key role in driving testing and coordination of QA efforts across the OS.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and triaging automated test runs
• Designing test plans, test cases, and risk analysis
• Identifying, escalating, and communicating key build quality issues
• Working towards resolutions on critical issues affecting build quality
• Designing and reviewing tests and coverage plans in alignment with different QA teams

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Scripting experience in Python / Swift
• Ability to investigate, debug, and triage difficult problems independently
