Operations Test Engineer

Apple is seeking an Operations Test Engineer to join their Operations Test Engineering team. This role involves working on manufacturing test solutions for Apple products, engaging with Hardware, Operations, and Business teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Design for Testability: Ensuring new products are tested effectively and cost-efficiently.
• Product Life Cycle Engineering: Working on all phases of a product from concept to production.
• Test Process Engineering: Designing and developing technical test processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Failure/Data Analysis: Planning and implementing testing procedures for new products.
• Improving product quality and cost by addressing test gaps and correlation issues.
• Providing direction to vendors and serving as a technical leader on projects.
• Driving failure analysis and machine issue resolution.
• Presenting status updates to the Executive team.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and interpersonal skills, with experience in assembly, inspection, test station design, test development, maintenance, and/or automation equipment. They should be able to work in a cross-functional environment and communicate effectively on a global scale.
