Responsibilities For Optical Module Engineer

  • Drive development and integration of innovative optical devices and technologies
  • Lead module feature and spec definition
  • Collaborate with system team, electrical engineering team, mechanical team, and other stakeholders
  • Lead multi-functional team to set goals and priorities
  • Own lens module master specification from pre-concept through mass production
  • Perform hands-on lab work to test and characterize lens module performance
  • Travel to international sites to support builds

Requirements For Optical Module Engineer

  • Master's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Optomechanics, or Physics
  • Technical experience in optical design and characterization, electro-optical device validation, vision optics, optomechanics, or vision display
  • Experience in bench-top and industry standard optical measurement systems
  • Experience using statistical data acquisition and analysis and/or optical simulation tools
