Responsibilities For Optical Module Integration Engineer

  • Drive development and integration of optical and opto-mechanical devices
  • Optimize opto-mechanical system manufacturing and integration processes
  • Lead spec definition/alignments and design reviews
  • Develop qualification plans
  • Conduct data reviews and perform failure analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors

Requirements For Optical Module Integration Engineer

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, optical, or physics)
  • 10+ years of industry experience in consumer electronics
  • 10+ years of experience driving vendor interactions and negotiating technical specifications
  • Experience with optical and opto-mechanical module technical development
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods for optical modules
  • Experience in bringing up new vendor to technology development and mass production
  • Skills in failure analysis, data analysis, and image processing
  • Strong communication and multi-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience in writing technical requirement specification documents
  • Familiarity with metrology or manufacturing equipment development
