Responsibilities For Optical Sensing HW Engineer (ALS)

  • Design, develop, and launch next-generation optical-sensing technologies
  • Analyze data to draw conclusions, enhance product design/manufacturability, and drive failure analysis
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Optical, Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability and Process Engineering
  • Product simulation and data analysis using software tools (Matlab, Python, JMP)
  • Failure mode analysis, root-cause diagnosis, and system-level problem solving

Requirements For Optical Sensing HW Engineer (ALS)

Python
  • Strong background in optical design
  • Experience with optical lab equipment (microscopes, spectrometers, detector, etc.) and experiments
  • Basic knowledge in Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant proven experience
  • Up to 10% travel required
