  • Design and execution of optical sensors, including building simulations/models
  • Hands-on design and bring-up of characterization setups
  • Simulation/analysis using software tools to support design verification
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sensing solutions
  • Lead hypothesis-driven failure analysis and system-level problem solving
  • Travel to support design/production/supplier teams (10% business travel)

Requirements For Optical Sensing HW – Sensing HW Engineer (Laser/LED Sensing)

  • BS degree and minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Strong background in optics, electrical engineering, optical sensor/system design, and optical test and metrology
  • Expertise in optical sensor development
  • Expertise in design and bring-up of opto-mechanical lab setups
  • Expertise using Python, C/C++, C#, Matlab for modeling and data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
