Apple is seeking a Panel Process Engineer to join their Hardware team in developing cutting-edge display technology across their product line. The position involves implementing new materials and advanced process development for high-performance display panels, requiring expertise in field testing, simulation, and panel validation.

As a technical leader, you'll collaborate with highly talented cross-functional engineering teams and Apple's panel supplying partners to develop award-winning, state-of-the-art products. The role demands expertise in Thin film, Photo Lithography, or Etching processes, and involves working closely with both California-based teams and Asian industrial partners.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant industry experience with a BS degree, bringing strong expertise in either mechanical engineering, TFT/MOSFET device engineering, or material science. The position offers a competitive salary range of $143,100 to $264,200, along with comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, stock options, and education reimbursement.

Responsibilities For Panel Process Engineer

  • Implement new materials and advanced process development for high performance display panels
  • Conduct field tests, simulation, and panel validation
  • Oversee and co-develop equipment used in Thin film, Photo Lithography, or Etching processes
  • Work with Apple HQ cross-functional Teams and industrial partners in Asia
  • Lead optimization of TFT & panel manufacturing process for future products
  • Explore new materials and technology for next generation products
  • Conduct numerical modeling, mechanical simulation, device simulation with FEA or TCAD

Requirements For Panel Process Engineer

  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience in Mechanical engineering, Structural engineering, and structural FEA analysis using simulation tools, or TFT/MOSFET device engineering and modeling, or Material Science & Physics
  • Familiarity with tools of analysis & measurement
  • English written and verbal communication & presentation skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the country or internationally
