Description For Panel Process, Equipment, Integration Engineer

Apple is seeking Senior Panel Process Engineers, Equipment, and Integration Engineers to pioneer the development of panel displays for their award-winning products. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of display technology innovation. As part of the Panel Systems team, you'll lead the development of new panel products through technical direction of cross-functional engineering teams and supplier partnerships. The position involves implementing new materials and advanced process development for high-performance display panels, conducting field tests, simulations, and panel validation from concept to production. You'll collaborate with Apple HQ teams in California and industrial partners in Asia, optimize manufacturing processes, explore cutting-edge technologies, and conduct sophisticated modeling and simulations. Responsibilities For Panel Process, Equipment, Integration Engineer

  • Work closely with the Apple HQ cross-functional Teams in California and Apple industrial partners in Asia to develop panels & TFT devices for Apple products
  • Lead the optimization of the TFT & panel manufacturing process for the future products
  • Exploring new materials and new technology to enable next generation Apple products
  • Conduct numerical modeling, mechanical simulation, device simulation with FEA or TCAD for the product design, optimization, and failure analysis

Requirements For Panel Process, Equipment, Integration Engineer

  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience with equipment technology and process integration for new product, i.e. Photo Lithography, Thin Film, Etch or Integration function for a-Si TFT, Metal Oxide TFT, LTPS TFT, or MOSFET
  • Experienced in management of these related field, i.e.TFT process, TFT equipment, Silicon process, Fab operation and R&D activities
  • Experience in flat panel display process
  • Background with TFT device engineering
  • Concise & effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English
