Apple is seeking a distinguished Engineering Program Manager to join their Panel Technologies Engineering Program Management team focusing on iPad and Home products. This role is integral to leading innovative display panel and module design & manufacturing process technology development. The position involves solving complex design challenges that directly impact future products, quality, and delivery of Apple Displays & Touch technology.

The role requires working closely with display panel and module engineering teams, as well as Material, ME, and EE teams in the display organization. The environment is fast-paced and requires self-motivated individuals who can thrive under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver capable of thinking beyond their technical domain to achieve results.

Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing project schedules, and ensuring efficient coordination between internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities For Panel Technologies Engineering Program Manager

  • Define project plans and schedules and drive project execution
  • Lead internal and external cross-functional teams in engineering and validation activities
  • Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication
  • Understand and communicate complex technical issues
  • Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues
  • Lead development budgets and engineering builds
  • Work with display panel and module engineering team

Requirements For Panel Technologies Engineering Program Manager

  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 10%
  • Strong engineering background
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Capability to drive international suppliers
  • Experience in consumer/portable products
  • Knowledge of optical film and display panel material and process
  • Experience in hardware design and manufacturing
