Responsibilities For PHY Systems Engineer (AGC)

  • Design and simulate innovative physical layer wireless communication algorithms
  • Implement system models and perform detailed performance investigations
  • Collaborate with digital designers and firmware developers
  • Document systems design, and interface sequence flows
  • Work on silicon bring up to help validate systems algorithms and design
  • Translate learnings from field/lab to algorithm design and improvements

Requirements For PHY Systems Engineer (AGC)

  • Experience in wireless baseband and/or RF signal processing design of 3GPP compliant modems (5G-NR, 4G LTE, 3G/2G)
  • Deep understanding of communication theory & signal processing related algorithms design
  • Strong analytical skills in linear algebra, random processes, detection and estimation, sampled data systems
  • In-depth knowledge of wireless communication system with PHY layer modeling experience
  • BS with 3+ years of relevant experience
