Your responsibilities will encompass the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to mass production. You should be well-versed in mechanics of materials, heat transfer, mechanism design, and various manufacturing methods including injection molding, die-casting, and stamping. Proficiency in 2D design drawing, metrology equipment, PCB design, and finite element analysis is essential.

Responsibilities For Product Design Engineer
- Design, develop and validate future individual parts and modules within Apple products
- Engage in initial architecture planning, 3D CAD and 2D drawings
- Define and complete critical Tolerance Analysis
- Cross-functional management of system modules design and integration
- Vendor and manufacturer communication and support
- Design parts with various manufacturing processes
- Run critical Design of Experiments (DOE)
Requirements For Product Design Engineer
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- One year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- Experience with Mechanics of Materials, Heat Transfer and Mechanism design
- Experience with Product design, from initial concept to product architecture development
- Experience with 2D Design Drawing for manufacturing
- Experience with Metrology equipment
- Experience with Design and manufacturing of PCB, FPCB and assemblies
- Experience with Tolerance Analysis
- Experience with Manufacturing Design of Experiments
- Experience with JMP or Minitab for statistical analysis
- Experience with Prototyping design and fabrication
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis
- Experience with Soft Goods product design
