Responsibilities For Product Design Engineer - iPad
- Cross-functional collaboration with Industrial Design, Product Integrity, EE, Manufacturing, SW, and technology groups
- Developing technical knowledge to understand design constraints
- Collaborating with vendors and manufacturing experts to optimize designs
- Utilizing 2D and 3D CAD for design communication
- Conducting stress and tolerance analysis, DFMEA, prototyping, testing, and failure analysis
Requirements For Product Design Engineer - iPad
- BSME degree
- Willing to travel 15-20% throughout the year
- Engineering Fundamentals knowledge: statics, strength of materials, material science, statistics
- Experience in flexible design skills including tolerance analysis and design for manufacturing
- Experience designing mechanical components for high volume manufacturing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 3D CAD experience (NX preferred)
