Responsibilities For Product Design Engineer - iPad

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Industrial Design, Product Integrity, EE, Manufacturing, SW, and technology groups
  • Developing technical knowledge to understand design constraints
  • Collaborating with vendors and manufacturing experts to optimize designs
  • Utilizing 2D and 3D CAD for design communication
  • Conducting stress and tolerance analysis, DFMEA, prototyping, testing, and failure analysis

Requirements For Product Design Engineer - iPad

  • BSME degree
  • Willing to travel 15-20% throughout the year
  • Engineering Fundamentals knowledge: statics, strength of materials, material science, statistics
  • Experience in flexible design skills including tolerance analysis and design for manufacturing
  • Experience designing mechanical components for high volume manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3D CAD experience (NX preferred)
