Description For Product Design Engineering Program Manager

Responsibilities For Product Design Engineering Program Manager

  • Support product definition and drive closure of architecture
  • Establish and contribute to program feature baseline and scheduling
  • Identify and highlight technical risk areas and mitigation strategies
  • Drive drawing releases and tooling kickoff with PD Engineering
  • Plan and execute prototype builds by directing OEM partners
  • Lead cross functional communication between project teams and external vendors
  • Drive challenging activities to meet overall project objectives
  • Offer multiple levels of status across teams via written and verbal communication

Requirements For Product Design Engineering Program Manager

  • BS engineering degree required
  • 1-4+ years of project management experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of product development processes and manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with mechanical engineering fundamentals
  • Experience interfacing with cross-functional teams
