Description For Responsible Materials Sourcing Manager

Apple's Environment and Supply Chain Innovation Team is seeking a Responsible Materials Sourcing Manager to lead their best-in-class Responsible Materials Management program. This role involves managing a team, strategizing, and implementing Apple's efforts in responsible sourcing of materials, including secondary sourced minerals. The position requires collaboration with various teams such as Engineering, Operations, Legal, Procurement, and Government Affairs. The ideal candidate should be driven, independent, and analytical, with the ability to promote innovation and manage complex international stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Responsible Materials Management program
  • Navigating conversations with suppliers and prioritizing projects
  • Decision-making in corporate due diligence programs
  • Developing and driving supplier requirements related to labor, human rights, and environment
  • Supply chain analytics and mapping
  • Executing detailed processes for data collection and task management

The role offers a competitive base pay range between $155,100 and $233,500, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
