Apple's Hardware Technology Organization (HW Tech) is seeking an innovative Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) to support RF compliance and performance testing projects. This role is central to enabling Apple's groundbreaking wireless technology products. The position involves managing critical aspects of RF testing facilities and systems, including planning, procurement, implementation, and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating product allocation to test teams, managing approvals for Apple accessories regarding wireless compliance, and overseeing RF test chamber construction activities. Responsibilities For RF Compliance and Performance Test Engineering Project Specialist

  • Manage material procurement and coordinate installation and validation testing of RF conformance test systems
  • Generate purchase requisitions for new equipment and follow-up with vendors
  • Host and attend various meetings from a material planning perspective
  • Communicate delivery schedules and manage vendors
  • Track material flow from suppliers through to engineering teams
  • Ensure smooth flow of material to meet validation requirements and schedules
  • Drive GSM and vendors to deliver requested material timely
  • Handle critical issues from Engineering change, material shortage or schedule slip
  • Report on material progress and investigate material blocker issues
  • Anticipate potential issues and communicate for mitigation

Requirements For RF Compliance and Performance Test Engineering Project Specialist

  • Bachelor Degree + 3 years of relevant experience
  • Detail oriented, ensuring accuracy of all data, status and reports
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Experience with overseas vendors
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations
  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity
