Apple's wireless silicon development team is seeking an RFIC Design Engineer to join their growing organization. The role is within the Wireless SoC Radio Team, which is responsible for developing state-of-the-art CMOS radios and wireless technologies. As an RFIC design engineer, you'll be at the heart of wireless SoC design, working on critical components that will be integrated into hundreds of millions of Apple products.
The position involves designing and developing next-generation wireless technologies in advanced CMOS technology nodes. You'll be working with various RF, analog, and mixed-signal blocks, including integrated PAs and LNAs, data converters, mixers, baseband filters, phase-locked loops, crystal oscillators, and more. The role requires collaboration with system and technology teams to optimize performance and meet system requirements.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in RFIC circuit design, with experience in deep sub-micron CMOS technology. Knowledge of analog design concepts, CMOS device physics, and RF device modeling is essential. Familiarity with various RF transceiver architectures and industry-standard tools like Cadence Virtuoso is highly valued.
