Description For RTL Design Engineer

At Apple, we work every single day to craft products that enrich people's lives. As an RTL Design Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on challenges that no one has solved yet and change the game. You'll be part of the world-class Apple mixed-signal silicon design team, building a solid foundation in logic circuits and gaining insight into analog circuits.

In this role, you will:

  • Specify, design, and help in the verification and lab bring-up of sophisticated mixed-signal circuits (digital side)
  • Gain knowledge in designing and micro-architecting digital blocks within mixed-signal circuits
  • Be responsible for RTL coding of blocks specified by you or others
  • Participate in design verification by writing meaningful assertions, debugging code, and interacting with the design verification team
  • Contribute to lab bring-up by writing test scripts, analyzing lab data, and proposing experiments

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on upcoming products that will delight millions of Apple's customers every day. You'll gain experience in various aspects of modern silicon engineering, including full custom schematics for analog and high-speed digital circuits, translating circuit functionality into efficient software behavioral representations, simulation, and ensuring formal equivalence between custom designs and their abstract representation.

The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600 per year, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple offers comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, stock options, and educational reimbursement opportunities.

Apple is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion and diversity. We take affirmative action to ensure equal opportunity for all applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, Veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics.
