Responsibilities For Semiconductor Facilities Engineer

  • Supporting facility operations for process tools in semiconductor wafer research facility
  • Establishing and maintaining systems for equipment operations and training
  • Managing safety, maintenance and repairs of support equipment
  • Participating in rotating on-call duties
  • Monitoring gas life safety systems, fire alarms, and critical facilities alarms
  • Coordinating major facilities equipment repairs, maintenance, modifications, and installations

Requirements For Semiconductor Facilities Engineer

Linux
  • Experience working on industrial-grade HVAC systems
  • 3+ years working with hazardous chemicals and gas systems
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to wear supplied air respirators, SCBA, Level B suits, ARC Flash suits, and coveralls
  • Bachelors degree or graduate of electrical/mechanical apprentice program preferred
  • CAL/OSHA or NFPA Compliance training or equivalent for electrical and life safety
