As a Senior Display Electrical Engineering Power Architect, you will be part of a team developing innovative designs implemented in products used by millions of people. The role primarily involves display module power architecture and PMIC development for Apple's next-generation products, including iPads, notebook computers, desktop computers, servers, and standalone displays.
Key responsibilities include: • Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to define display power architecture • Working with the silicon team to develop comprehensive display PMIC specifications, simulation cases, and characterization plans • Partnering with the display EE integration team for power solution integration, including schematic, BOM, and PCB layout • Providing technical support and resolving production issues in the factory • Developing simulation, calculation, and analytical models and hardware prototypes to prove design concepts • Conducting validation of power solutions in the lab, documenting and presenting results for leadership and cross-functional teams
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power supply design, DC-DC power conversion topologies, and both analog and digital control loop optimization. Experience in optimizing DC-DC converter performance and using simulation tools is essential.
