As a Senior Front End Engineer in the Apple Service Engineering (ASE) Data Platform team, you will be at the center of creating rich, interactive user experiences for the data platform experiences across analytics and ML used across Apple. You'll be responsible for designing and building pixel-perfect web applications, starting new projects from scratch and improving existing ones.

In this role, you will work on web applications that enable other teams within Apple to build, test, and ship their code. You'll be exposed to a large domain where you'll synthesize complex workflows to produce experiences that help users visualize, understand, and manage various aspects of their deployment process. This involves collaborating with diverse teams, taking part in user experience design, implementation, and maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing and challenging wireframes and user-flows
• Implementing designs with test-covered code
• Evolving the codebase alongside community advancements
• Collaborating efficiently with large and diverse teams
• Taking ownership of user experience design, implementation, and maintenance

This role offers substantial responsibility and influence over the direction of numerous critical Apple internet services. Your contributions will impact hundreds of millions of users and be pivotal to the success of some of the most prominent current and forthcoming Apple features.

Key qualifications:

• 8+ years of industry experience
• Expertise in React, NodeJS, and ES6 concepts
• Experience with modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack)
• End-to-End Web application development experience
• Strong knowledge of APIs and REST architecture
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced development environment
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Sass and Bootstrap
• Knowledge of charting libraries (e.g., D3)
• Understanding of Design, UI, and UX principles
• Experience with Python and Java
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker
