Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Apple is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Satellite Communications SRE team, focusing on building and maintaining critical infrastructure that enables satellite connectivity for iPhone users when they're off the grid. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on Emergency SOS via satellite services that help people in critical situations.

The position involves building and running large-scale, highly resilient systems that enable customers to access communications services via satellite. You'll be working with bare metal, OS, platform, and network infrastructure for a customer-facing Apple service. This is a rare opportunity to build and control the entire end-to-end infrastructure, including all supporting components such as provisioning, monitoring, deployment, and software tools platforms.

As part of the Satellite Connectivity Group, you'll be directly impacting millions of Apple device users' safety and connectivity.
