Senior Software Engineer, Apple Watch

As part of the Pairing Frameworks team at Apple, you will be foundational to the Apple Watch platform, working closely with Apple Watch software teams across the organization by building system frameworks. You will collaborate with the networking team and other cross-functional partners to develop and improve the pairing and communication technologies, working with design and QA partners to help define the user-facing goals of those technologies. You will play a core role in innovating and improving setup and pairing, giving new Apple Watch users their first experience on the platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building system frameworks for the Apple Watch platform
• Developing and improving pairing and communication technologies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including networking, design, and QA
• Innovating and improving the setup and pairing process for new Apple Watch users
• Optimizing applications and profiling throughout the stack
• Working on inter-process communication systems
