Description For Sensing Hardware Validation Engineer

Apple's Sensing Hardware team is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer to join their innovative team developing cutting-edge sensors for various Apple platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology that powers devices used by millions worldwide.

As a Sensing Hardware Validation Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing, characterizing, and validating sensor systems used across Apple's product lineup, including iPhones, iPads, Audio devices, Macs, and the Home ecosystem. You'll work with state-of-the-art touch sensing technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence.

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $143,100 to $264,200, along with comprehensive benefits including medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and various stock programs. You'll have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through discretionary restricted stock unit awards and participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience and a BS degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. You should have strong expertise in touch sensing technologies, hardware validation processes, and proficiency in Python for test automation. The position involves hands-on work with hardware validation, development of test scripts, and collaboration with various teams including firmware, system engineering, and product operations.
