Sensing Test and Validation Engineer

The Sensing Test Hardware Engineering group at Apple is seeking an exceptional sensing hardware Test/Validation Engineer to join their team. This role is responsible for developing and deploying test infrastructure for mass production of various sensing hardware across Apple's product line.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and developing test requirements, coverage, calibration strategies, and algorithms for sensing devices
• Developing algorithms and implementing optimized software tools
• Designing high-level system architecture and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Conducting failure and root cause analysis, as well as corrective action studies
• Managing test plans, EE, software, and tester documentation
• Performing data analysis to identify trends and potential improvements

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in sensor testing and design. They should be self-motivated, able to lead multiple projects, and possess strong communication skills for effective collaboration with large teams.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge sensing technologies for Apple products, with occasional travel to both Apple and suppliers' facilities for test infrastructure development and setup.
