Responsibilities For Sensor Architect

  • Work with optical, mechanical, electronics, and signal processing teams to ensure sensors meet performance requirements
  • Track and understand design changes impact across different components
  • Facilitate discussions and decisions on design trade-offs between various disciplines
  • Lead FMEA analysis and interaction between various components
  • Design, validate, and implement next generation bio-sensing technologies

Requirements For Sensor Architect

  • BS degree in physics, optics, engineering, or related field
  • Ten years of industry experience in sensor design and fabrication
  • Five or more years of industry experience in biomedical sensor development
  • Experience with system integration of electronic and opto-mechanical components
  • Experience with optical spectroscopy instrumentation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of physiology and biomedical sensor data
