Apple is seeking experienced Analog Mixed-Signal designers to join their high-speed SerDes team. This role focuses on building next-generation high-performance wireline transceivers delivering intellectual-property (IP) for Apple's world-leading system-on-chip (SOC). The position involves working with cross-functional teams to develop state-of-the-art IPs crucial to Apple's products.
The team specializes in the development of high-performance and high-speed AMS circuits used in SerDes PHY, including various circuit topologies for specific product requirements. You'll be working on components such as Rx, CDR, Tx, bias generator, high-speed clock generation, and low-jitter distribution, with a focus on achieving the best in class power, performance, and area (PPA).
As a SerDes Circuit Design Engineer, you'll collaborate with multiple teams including architecture, SIPI, packaging, board design, DFT, and ESD to create and drive block-level specifications, mixed-signal implementations, and behavioral modeling. The role offers an exciting and growth-oriented work environment where you'll interact with peers and management to communicate progress and drive new implementations/concepts.
The ideal candidate should possess deep understanding of AMS design with experience in high-speed serial links, solid understanding of various AMS circuit blocks, and expertise in analog mixed-signal concepts. Experience with digitally assisted analog design, high-speed digital circuits, and proven track record working with large teams are essential.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that directly impacts Apple's world-renowned products. You'll be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and efficiency, while contributing to the development of next-generation hardware solutions that surprise and delight Apple customers.
