Description For Silicon Supplier Excellence Engineering Program Manager

Apple is seeking an exceptional senior-level design or product engineer to lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon/IP suppliers working on groundbreaking technologies. This role requires a leader with extensive experience in all phases of silicon development, from micro-architecture specification through pre-silicon activities (simulation, emulation, verification) to post-silicon activities (bring-up, validation, characterization, qualification). The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of digital, analog, and memory technology product development for high-volume manufacturing.

  • Drive technical exchanges and direction with appropriate supplier teams
  • Lead hardware and software verification, validation, and qualification activities between Apple internal teams and suppliers
  • Oversee various joint efforts and ensure completion on schedule
  • Filter and distill critical data from internal and external technical and business partners
  • Make data driven decisions

Requirements For Silicon Supplier Excellence Engineering Program Manager

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field + 20 years relevant experience
  • Proven experience in digital and mixed-signal integrated circuit design and design automation tools
  • Demonstrated experience in digital, mixed-signal, analog, or memory integrated circuit design, fab, package, product, test, applications, or reliability engineering leadership
  • Strong communication and program management skills
  • Comfortable with dynamic schedule driven development, crisis management, and directing multi-functional debug efforts
  • Excellent verbal and written social skills
