Apple is seeking a senior level design or product engineer to drive and lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon and IP suppliers working on groundbreaking technologies. The role involves overseeing various joint efforts in hardware and software verification, validation, and qualification activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving technical exchanges and direction with supplier teams in areas such as Architecture, Hardware Design, Software Design and Implementation, Product and Test, and Reliability Engineering.
- Leading hardware and software verification, validation, and qualification activities between Apple internal teams and suppliers.
- Filtering and distilling critical data from internal and external partners to make data-driven decisions.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in all phases of silicon development, including micro-architecture specification, pre-silicon activities (simulation, emulation, verification), and post-silicon activities (bring-up, validation, characterization, qualification). Knowledge of digital, analog, and memory technology product development for high volume manufacturing is essential.

Requirements For Silicon Supplier Excellence Engineering Program Manager
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field + 20 years relevant experience
- Proven experience in digital and mixed-signal integrated circuit design and design automation tools
- Demonstrated experience in digital, mixed-signal, analog, or memory integrated circuit design, fab, package, product, test, applications, or reliability engineering leadership
- Strong communication and program management skills
- Comfortable with dynamic schedule driven development, crisis management, and directing multi-functional debug efforts
- Excellent verbal and written social skills
