Apple is seeking a forward-thinking Analog Mixed Signal IP Silicon Validation Engineer to join their dynamic hardware team. In this highly visible role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and validating the world's most premiere mobile SoCs. You'll perform crucial lab characterization and validation of various analog & mixed signal embedded circuits, working with cutting-edge technology that impacts millions of Apple customers daily.

The position involves sophisticated technical work including bench testing, debugging, and characterization of DDR Memory for SoCs, developing complex benchtop electrical tests, and creating automated testing solutions. Responsibilities For Silicon Validation Engineer

  • Perform lab characterization and validation of analog & mixed signal embedded circuits
  • Bench test, bring-up, debug, and characterization of DDR Memory for SoC's
  • Development of benchtop electrical tests using FPGA, JTAG, SPI, and analog interfaces
  • Draft & Execute scripts to automate tests, extract results, and generate reports
  • Generate reports for characterization and debugging to provide design feedback
  • Perform In-system PI/SI measurements for correlation with simulation models
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Design, System HW, and SW
  • Support ATE and Product Engineering for Inter-operability tests

Requirements For Silicon Validation Engineer

  • BSEE or higher degrees in technical discipline
  • Preferred MSEE or PHD degrees with at least 2+ years of relevant industry experience
