Site Manager

Apple's Real Estate and Development (RE&D) team is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated senior facilities professional to join their team as a Site Manager. This role will lead all aspects of the management and operation of Apple's growing region.

The Site Manager will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and multiple organizations to provide top management and support of the region's real estate portfolio. This includes millions of square feet in Corporate and R&D facilities with significant growth underway. The organizations under this manager include Facilities and Operations & Maintenance, Shipping, Workplace Operations and Management, Building Management, Guest Services & Facilities Web Management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and operating buildings as outstanding workplaces
• Delivering high-quality results at the best value
• Leading a full-scale in-sourced facilities or project management team
• Balancing operational risk and investment
• Diagnosing, leading, and resolving maintenance issues quickly and efficiently
• Leading all aspects of scheduled maintenance programs
• Planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and implementing technical services for a large real estate portfolio

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of building engineering, facility/construction/project management experience
• Extensive knowledge of building systems, machinery, landscape, and quality improvement projects
• Deep expertise in developing impactful teams across a large region
• Excellent leadership, communication, and supervisory skills
• Experience in diverse supplier engagement and development in the Los Angeles market
• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Building Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred)
