Site Reliability Engineering Leader - Security, Apple Service Engineering

Apple Services Engineering (ASE) is seeking a passionate and talented Site Reliability Engineering Leader to focus on providing customers with the highest quality Apple Services experience. This role involves leading a new SRE team dedicated to foundational security services, partnering closely with the Security Development team to bring up and mature new services as part of infrastructure investments. The position requires overseeing critical security infrastructure services, improving their reliability and manageability, and establishing a global SRE team. Key responsibilities include collaborating with multi-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security measures, incident response protocols, and automation tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SRE principles, infrastructure security concepts, and managing large-scale, highly available distributed systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on services that are critical for operational security and protecting Apple's fleet and most critical data.
