Description For SoC Characterization Product Engineer

Join Apple's Silicon Technologies group to help design and manufacture next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. As a SoC Characterization Product Engineer, you'll be part of the team responsible for crafting and building the technology that powers Apple's iconic devices including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, AirPods, and HomePod. The role involves sophisticated product characterization on various setups, defining correlation between ATE and logic boards, and studying hardware impact on SOC performance. Responsibilities For SoC Characterization Product Engineer

  • Perform data analysis, characterization, and fault isolation to resolve root cause of issues
  • Perform correlation between ATE and different hardware setups
  • Partner with design, process and test engineers to identify and implement corrective actions
  • Define and finalize production screening guard-band specifications
  • Perform statistical data analysis on mass data set to setup test limits
  • Complete yield analyses and correlation analysis for test insertions
  • Support test time reduction related characterization activities
  • Coordinate test related activities and reviews with internal and external groups

Requirements For SoC Characterization Product Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree + 10 Years of Experience
  • In depth knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing Process
  • Understanding of Electronic Engineering Fundamentals and DFT concepts
  • Experience in system level/mother board characterization and data collection
  • Expertise in programming with Scripting languages (PERL, Python)
  • Knowledge of test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)
  • Board bring up, hardware design and PDN noise analysis experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
