Description For SoC Correlation Product Engineer

Join Apple's Silicon Technologies group as a SoC Correlation Product Engineer and be part of the team that designs and manufactures next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking technologies that power Apple's iconic devices including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, AirPods, and HomePod.

As a SoC Correlation Product Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing system-level test programs for debug, characterization, qualification, and production of SoC devices. You'll work directly with multiple cross-functional teams, including design, validation, test, manufacturing, system test, and software teams, to identify issues and implement corrective actions.

The role requires expertise in system-level characterization, statistical data analysis, and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously. You'll be instrumental in performing measurements that directly impact SoC power and performance for various next-generation products, while also working closely with ATE and software teams to develop test cases and benchmarks.

Responsibilities For SoC Correlation Product Engineer

  • Perform measurements that impact SoC power & performance for next generation products
  • Work on groundbreaking technologies & new designs with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with ATE and software teams to develop test cases and benchmarks
  • Characterize test setups and optimize production screening guardband
  • Define characterization plans and perform statistical data analysis
  • Manage multiple programs at different stages
  • Serve as central point of contact for multiple teams

Requirements For SoC Correlation Product Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree + 3 Years of Experience
  • Experience with system level characterization
  • Understanding of PDN impact on Vmin, ATE test content
  • Experience working with and driving cross functional teams
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis tools
  • Experience in scripting (Python, JMP, PERL etc.)
