Description For SOC Front-End Engineering Program Manager

As a Silicon Program Manager in the Hardware Technology Engineering organization, you'll be at the forefront of developing next-generation Apple products. This role focuses on driving front-end silicon program schedules and resolving technical issues for timely silicon delivery. You'll be responsible for managing the development process for SOC silicon, from initial architecture and specifications to design and pre-silicon prototyping. The position requires expertise in HW-SW integration methodology and automation infrastructure. You'll work with cross-functional teams including Design, Verification, Validation, Technology, System Hardware, Operations, and Software teams. Responsibilities For SOC Front-End Engineering Program Manager

  • Drive technical issue resolution to enable timely silicon delivery
  • Drive internal program processes for silicon definition and design execution
  • Develop scripts and automation for SOC methodology
  • Evaluate and improve processes and methodologies
  • Interface with multi-functional teams
  • Manage dependencies across programs, teams, and sites
  • Handle issue reporting, bug tracking, and program status communication

Requirements For SOC Front-End Engineering Program Manager

Python
  • BS and 3+ years of experience in SoC/VLSI Chip Design, ASIC Chip Design, or Technology process development
  • Experience integrating Hardware/Software or Hardware/Firmware development
  • Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience working in a dynamic engineering environment
  • Technical Program or Project Management experience
  • Experience with ASIC & VLSI design flows
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Confluence, JIRA)
