Responsibilities For SoC Physical Design Engineer
- Work with CAD/Physical Verification/Electrical analysis and PnrR Teams on power grid development
- Develop features and methodology solutions for SOC partitions
- Collaborate with technology teams for node evaluations and global PD engineers
- Resolve design and flow issues related to physical design
- Drive methodologies and best practices to streamline physical design work
Requirements For SoC Physical Design Engineer
- BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Familiar with ASIC integration including floorplanning, clock and power distribution, global signal planning, I/O planning, and hard IP integration
- Experience with scripting and programming skills (TCL/Python)
- Understanding of industry standard tools for PNR, Voltage Drop Analysis, STA & Layout Verification
