Apple is seeking a Silicon Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to join their Silicon Engineering Group (SEG). The position involves leading silicon debug, bring-up, and validation programs for next-generation Apple products.

As an EPM, you'll work with expert teams to drive silicon program schedules and resolve technical issues crucial for timely delivery. Your responsibilities include collaborating with multi-functional teams across Design, Verification, Validation, Technology, System Hardware, and Software to resolve silicon issues from initial bring-up through production release.

The role requires strong technical expertise in SoC architecture and post-silicon validation, combined with exceptional program management skills. You'll influence future designs through lessons learned and drive improvements in organizational processes. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of industry experience, deep knowledge of ARM architecture, and proven ability to lead complex technical programs.

  • Drive technical issue resolution to enable timely silicon delivery
  • Drive internal program process to guarantee high quality silicon execution
  • Interface and drive silicon issues across multi-functional teams
  • Focus silicon team and cross-functional teams on meeting near term work
  • Drive technical sessions with cross-functional teams to track & follow up issues/escalations
  • Focused issue reporting, bug tracking, and communication of program risks & status

Requirements For SoC Silicon Debug Engineering Program Manager

Linux
  • SOC / VLSI Chip Design, Post Silicon Validation or Product Engineering experience
  • Post-silicon debug experience
  • Technical program management, technical leadership or vendor management experience
  • BS and 10+ years relevant industry experience
  • Top level SoC architecture and associated IPs knowledge
  • Experience with ARM architecture
  • Working knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
  • Knowledge of pre-si modeling platforms (FPGA, simulation, emulation)
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
