Software Engineer - Apple Watch

Join the team that is revolutionizing Apple Watch! The Messages team on watchOS is looking for an energetic and creative software engineer to build experiences that keep the world securely connected. Work on building features like Voice Dictation, Emoji Tapbacks, Text Effects, and carrier features like RCS. You will have the opportunity to work closely with iOS Counterparts as well as many other teams across Apple.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with designers to turn ideas into meaningful prototypes, and demoing them to stakeholders.
• Writing high quality, well tested, and performant code to develop prototypes into polished, Apple-level experiences.
• Architecting systems that are extensible, adaptable, and stand the test of time.
• Profiling and optimizing cutting-edge features to run well on a low-powered, highly-constrained device.
• Working daily with quality assurance teams to find and fix bugs, edge cases, and performance issues.
