Description For Software Engineer, Internationalization

Apple's Internationalization team is seeking a passionate software engineer to help make their products accessible to customers worldwide. This role focuses on creating inclusive input experiences across various languages and writing systems. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing input methods and keyboard layouts for over 100 languages, working with cutting-edge Apple Intelligence and Writing Tools. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accessibility, Hardware, Human Interface, NLP, and Privacy to ensure Apple's next-generation experiences reach all customers globally.

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $175,800 to $312,200, plus additional benefits including stock options, comprehensive healthcare, and education reimbursement. Requirements For Software Engineer, Internationalization

  • Strong object oriented programming and design skills
  • In-depth development experience with Swift or/and Objective-C
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • Familiarity with internationalization and Unicode
  • Deep knowledge of UI and framework development in iOS/macOS
