In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting the agenda for security projects to safeguard FaceTime and Phone calls.
- Maximizing our team effectiveness by mentoring our high growth employees to succeed in lead roles.
- Making the right strategic technology decisions. Strengthening security while creating great user experiences, including sufficient backwards compatibility.
- Shaping product direction by developing vision and building relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders, including: peer engineering teams, the design team, senior software leadership, and the product marketing team.
This team has a duty to shape and drive FaceTime's private and secure calling experience. We fulfill our duty by caring deeply, living on our software, developing defensible opinions on what to keep / what to change, and having empathy for the countless users in the world who rely on us every day.
