Software Quality Engineer, Claris

As a Software QA Engineer for Claris, an Apple company, you'll be responsible for testing and validating FileMaker products and services. This role involves creating test plans, test cases, and executing manual or automated tests to ensure software meets business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Functional testing of server and client software features on iOS, macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu platforms
• Reporting on testing status and following up on regressions
• Designing and implementing test plans and test cases
• Creating and executing automated test scripts
• Conducting risk analysis and coordinating cross-functional testing
• Investigating customer issues and troubleshooting complex problems

The ideal candidate should have:

• 3+ years of QA experience with iOS, macOS, Windows, and/or Ubuntu
• Experience in developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation
• Strong attention to detail and excellent debugging skills
• Solid understanding of development lifecycles and QA processes
• Experience with Python, Swift, or other object-oriented programming languages (preferred)
• Passion for user-focused design and high-quality technology
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration
