Solutions Architect/Product Manager - e-Commerce, Apple Store Online

Apple is seeking a Solutions Architect to join the Apple Store Online Product Team, focusing on the infrastructure and tooling that builds their e-commerce experience. This role involves designing and driving the Apple Store Online's technical architecture and roadmap, working with cross-functional partners to evolve the architecture while maintaining a multi-billion dollar business. The ideal candidate will have experience in building complex, scalable systems, and will help inform architecture choices and explore new technologies. Key responsibilities include challenging old assumptions, bringing flexibility to business teams, and diving into project details to implement upgrades in tools and processes. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on involvement in a high-performing team supporting Apple's digital retail initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and drive Apple Store Online's technical architecture and roadmap
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product Managers, Marketing, Merchandising, Engineering, etc.)
• Challenge old assumptions and bring flexibility to business teams
• Explore new technologies and inform architecture choices
• Drive projects to implement upgrades in tools and processes
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on involvement

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Computer Science or a technical degree, or 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• 4+ years in Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, or Engineering Management
• Experience designing and building complex, large-scale, multi-tenant systems
• Expertise in designing for scale
• Experience developing multi-year roadmaps with complex interdependencies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with AI, Deep Learning, and their applications in digital commerce
• Familiarity with 3rd Party e-commerce marketplace integrations
• Experience with publishing, merchandising, and key e-commerce systems
• Experience working with globally distributed teams in a multi-lingual/cultural environment
• Ability to challenge conventions and debate solutions
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
