Description For Sr. Engineering Program Manager, Subscriptions and Infrastructure

Apple's Subscriptions and Infrastructure Team is seeking a Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead sophisticated technical and business projects for their foundational subscription support systems. This role is integral to supporting all Apple and Developer Subscription products across App Store, Apple TV, News, and Music platforms. The position offers unique opportunities to work on both strategic long-term projects and immediate business initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams on marquee features and product launches.

The role involves developing systems for precise pricing calculations, availability, royalties, and promotional tools for developers. You'll be working with various Apple services including App Store, Arcade, Apple Music, TV+, News+, Fitness+, iTunes Stores, Books, and Podcasts. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with uncertainty and possess strong leadership qualities to drive complex projects to completion.

As a Senior EPM, you'll be responsible for maintaining roadmaps, driving project execution, and ensuring alignment between business, product, engineering, and QA organizations. The position requires exceptional communication skills and technical proficiency, as you'll be collaborating with multiple departments including Engineering, IT, Legal, Finance, and Operations.

Responsibilities For Sr. Engineering Program Manager, Subscriptions and Infrastructure

  • Maintain current year roadmap and assist in prioritization of projects
  • Deliver projects on-time and in scope
  • Lead important aspects of each project including scope, design, resource allocation and technical dependencies
  • Own overall cross-functional schedules
  • Drive the execution phase of every project
  • Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Legal, Finance, Operations, Design and other organizations
  • Communicate project status and progress regularly to stakeholders and leadership

Requirements For Sr. Engineering Program Manager, Subscriptions and Infrastructure

  • 5+ years of program or project management in software development
  • BS/MS/MBA or equivalent work experience in Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Science
  • Strong Excel and Keynote skills
  • Strong technical proficiency
